  Steady Geyser
Feature Type: Geyser
Geyser/Spring Type: Perpetual spouter

Basin
Lower Geyser Basin
Complex
Black Warrior of Firehole Lake Group

The aptly named feature Steady Geyser has been steadily spouting since it was first seen. This perpetual spouter plays from two large vents that discharge directly into Hot Lake. The play from the vents varies over time. Somtimes alternating from one vent to the other. At the best of times, Steady has reached 30 feet but recently has only been seen to reach about 12 feet and is frequenly less than half that. Even so, it still puts out an impressive volume of water.
