Grand Prismatic Spring is the largest hot spring in Yellowstone, though not the world. Grand Prismatic is about 250 by 300 feet in size. It is also, hot and deep, 160 degrees Fahrenheit and up to 160 feet deep. Often, it is surrounded by highly colorful cyanobacteria mats.
